Our office has a stable team of 25 employees. As our client base grows steadily every year, we are always looking for new talent to strengthen the team. As a file manager, you are entrepreneurial, customer-focused, and ideally, hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Taxation or a Master's degree in business economics.

Every year, we offer Bachelor's students an educational internship under the supervision of a mentor. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to experience various assignments in the field of Accountancy and Tax.

DRT & Partners in Aarschot is an accounting firm for SMEs and sole proprietorships. The firm has a stable team of 20 employees and 4 partners and experiences steady annual growth. In order to support the growth of the office, we are looking for a File administrator.

Job description (m/f)

After a trial period, depending on your knowledge and experience, as a File administrator, you will be responsible for the follow-up, from A to Z, of the bookkeeping and fiscal files of SMEs and one-man businesses. You are the trusted advisor and personal contact of your clients. You work in a team in which you can rely on the support of your team members allowing you to grow in your job. Your tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Booking of purchase and sales invoices and bank statements
  • Preparing balance sheets and VAT tax returns
  • Considering our client base your native language is preferably Dutch or you have a very good knowledge of the language
  • Filing corporate and personal tax returns
  • Following up on advance payments
  • Finalizing the year end closing
  • Preparing annual accounts, interim financial reports and reporting to the client

Profile

  • You have Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation, a Master’s degree in Business Economics or equivalent
  • You have two to five years of relevant experience in an accountancy firm
  • You are able to work autonomously and accurately
  • You are client-minded, easy to work with and a team player
  • Both starters and candidates with more knowledge and experience will be considered.
    As a starter, you will initially assist some more experienced case managers.
